The Versatile Option
In addition the the Mevo Solution, another option is to use a D-SLR camera.
For smaller churches this gives a cost effective and versatile solution. Mirrorless D-SLR cameras can give great results in many situations. Interchangeable lenses allow for a multitude of different camera placements and, coupled with a high quality tripod, a stable and reliable streaming platform.
Additionally, it can be used outside of live streaming as a high quality camera for capturing still images.
Most good quality D-SLR cameras have a HDMI output, which can be captured using an HDMI capture card and presented to a computer as a simple webcam device. This allows easy streaming to platforms such as Facebook Live, YouTube, Twitch and more.
